1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RX Insight ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RX Insight is an informational platform that aggregates publicly available data from U.S. government databases including the FDA (openFDA), ClinicalTrials.gov, the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS), the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), RxNorm, and PubChem. The Service presents this data in a consumer-friendly format.

3. Not Medical Advice

• Do not stop, start, or change any medication based on information from this Service without consulting your doctor or pharmacist.
• Adverse event reports (FAERS and VAERS) are voluntarily submitted and do not prove that a drug or vaccine caused a health problem.
• AI-generated summaries are produced by artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies. They are not reviewed by medical professionals.
• Recall alerts are informational notifications. Not all recalls affect all batches of a medication. Contact your pharmacist to determine if your specific prescription is affected.
• If you believe you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.

4. Data Sources and Accuracy

We aggregate data from public government databases. While we strive to present this data accurately, we cannot guarantee that the information is complete, current, or error-free. Government databases may be updated at different intervals and may not reflect the most recent information. You should verify any information that is important to you with the original source or your healthcare provider.

5. AI-Generated Content

Certain features of the Service use artificial intelligence to generate plain-language summaries of data ("Quick Take" summaries and FDA section summaries). These summaries are clearly labeled as AI-generated. They are provided for convenience only and may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations of the underlying data. Always refer to the original data displayed on the page and consult your healthcare provider for medical decisions.

6. User Accounts and Subscriptions

You may create an account to save medications and receive alerts. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Subscription terms, pricing, and cancellation policies are presented at the time of purchase. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

7. Email Communications

By saving medications to your cabinet, you consent to receive safety-related email communications including recall alerts and weekly safety digests. You may unsubscribe from these communications at any time. We will not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RX Insight and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes, without limitation, damages arising from reliance on information provided by the Service, failure to receive or delayed receipt of alerts, or inaccuracies in AI-generated content. You use the Service entirely at your own risk.

9. No Affiliation

RX Insight is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), or any pharmaceutical company. Government data is used under public domain terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will note the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
